I believe that I followed all instructions correctly and am still unable to get the flickr support to work. It only displays a black window with the Loading animation showing, but nothing ever loads. Are there any common mistakes folks are making or do you have any instructions?

I am having the same problem - I even tried the 'nature' feed mandeep was using on the slideshow/flickr demo. Perhaps you could post a screen shot of how you had that demo configured?
thanks,
Will

Some clients have expressed a issue with Flickr support; v1.5 of LC and v1.1 of LC SlideShow will be out shortly that will take care of the issue...
