I had a question before I purchase my membership. The skin on my site is green, if I load live images, will the background stay white, or will it match my skin color.

I also read that Live content must stay white, but future enhancements would allow more customization options. Was that referring to the background on the page or the frame that surrounds the image in the pop-up window?

Any demo site links to users who have purchased the mods?

Thanks,

Sean

Hi,
Live Images presentation can be customized through editing CSS; to answer your question, yes you can change the background to green or any other color to match your site.

I'm not sure where you read that Live Content background must stay white; Live Content is also driven by CSS and therefore you can change the background to any color you desire. The outline types (borders) of Live Content are PNG (transparent images) and you can also change them by simply editing the images.

For which product are you looking for demo sites? We've sold hundreds of license for both of our products; Live Content has been on best selling list since it's release...

We're working on a formal showcase page; however, we don't consider that a priority at the moment...we rather spend our time enhancing our current modules and providing user requested features...

How difficult is it to adjust the color through the CSS for a skinning rookie? Is is easy to locate and adjust? now that you mention it, I would rather see enhancements over a list of demo sites. I was just trying to find a few people I could could get some ideas from.

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean,
changing a color via CSS is as easy as replacing color 'red' with color 'white' or with a hex color value such as #FFFFFF

Anyways, you're always welcome to open a support ticket and our support team will walk you through step by step...as for list of enhancements or user creativity...I'm still working on the showcase section of the site.

Thanks for the help....I understand how to change out color codes; I just have only manipulated skins before, never a mod. Is this best to do before you install it, or can you go into the file structure and change colors after the mod has been installed to the site?

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean,
the process is no different then manipulating skins by changing CSS; you can go into the file structure and change the css after the mod has been installed...

Postrooms.. I have to be honest.. I do not consider myself creative and I have been able to go into a module and change the css to match my site for a couple different mods I am using. The support on this site is great so if you ever get stuck I am sure you can get an answer by either posting the question here or by opening a support ticket with the site.

Grumman...Thanks for boost of confidence, it is nice to known there are developers that truly support their products. I am still learning as well and I have noticed the more solid a mod...the easier it is to manipulate. I think I will stick to Live content, Live images is beyond my patients and skill level. I need to get images up fast and linking them manually, is too time consuming for my project.
