This might be asking a lot. I am not sure if it is possible or what work would be involved but this would save me a lot of work. Adding an eframe dev link is quite a bit more work than just adding a link. Also if one of the dev mode links is messed up, alot of the other dev mode links do not work in IE.

How about having Live content just treat a link formated like http://url.com/page.aspx#LiveContent[DevLink] like there is an eFrame element even if there isn't one.

If that is not possible, how about a helper module that is not visible but checks for dev links. If it does not exist, it adds the element with the default settings and modid that you can configure in the helper module.

This was an issue in initial release; if you upgrade to latest version then this should be fixed.

Why not just create an element and give it calltag DevLink?

A helper function wouldn't work either; for one this would be detected at client side (when the page is loaded) and therfore no server side code can ge generated...
