Mandeeps,

I try to set the Background Color in the slideshow module, but it always reverts back to 000000. I've tried FFFFFF, 999999, and so on. Nothing stays.

This bug has been reported on forums by several others. It will be fixed with next update of Live Content SlideShow

Is there a way to change this directly - in an XML or CSS file somewhere?

Hi empulse,
technically you can update the data directly using sql and update the color value; however, the data is stored as xml blob.

SlideShow currently does not implement iPortable therefore you can't export/edit/import changes...

v1.5 of LC and v1.1 of SlideShow will fix the issue...both are due shortly.

It appears that 3 months ago you said there would be an update to SlideShow to fix the background color problem.

Any idea when this will happen?
I just purchased the app and the background is a major problem for me.

It has been fixed with v1.5 of LC and v1.2 of SlideShow. Both are posted to subscriber downloads.

If you're snowcovered user then it will be in patches by tonight.
