I am trying to use a Call Tag and pass a parameter.  When I do nothing happens, but if I click on the LiveContent element it pops the module I want with the parameter having been passed.

Here is what the think looks like:Âhttp://www.mysite.com/Default.aspx?&FIELDID=5#LiveContent[POP5]

Is something like this possible?  Do I need to use JavaScript somehow?

Without the parameter the call tag works, but it brings up the list of records.  The parameter should bring up just that record.

Thanks for any help

This is not a supported feature; you cannot use call tags in URL query parameter. Instead use AutoLaunchElementId along with modId....read documentation for details.

By the way, CallTag query parameter will be supported with next updated (v1.5)

I'll take a look at the AutoLaunch element and see if I can make that work.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Great to hear that it will be supported in the next update!  That will be fantastic.  When do you think that update will be released?

Thanks again!

I have finally gotten back to this project and am really excited to have this work!  Unfortunately I still can't make this work.  Similar to another user's recent post,
 http://dnn.mandeeps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=59&forumid=5&postid=1095&view=topic

I can get the eModule to pop up but the parameter is not passed.Â

In the link I am putting  ?FIELDID=2#LiveContent[MyTag]
This brings up the LiveContent eModule on the page...  this eModule target is on another page, which it brings up correctly but the page has not received the parameter.

When I link directly to this page (without LiveContent)   http://..../default.aspx?FIELDID=2  then it works as expected.Â

Is there a different way to do this?  I have tried many variations, i.e., #LiveContent[mytag]&?FIELDID=2 ... but nothing seems to work.

Looking forward to making this work!
